Laboratory Testing

At some point with each patient, Dr. Peltz likes to rely on lab results to understand their case. This can include blood work, urine testing, saliva testing, breath, or stool testing. This includes can reviewing results conducted before a visit with the patient's other practitioners, or ordering new tests. Dr. Peltz reviews what (if any tests) have been done, how recently, and then decides what is indicated.


She Frequently Orders Conventional or Functional Lab Test Panels to Assess:

  • Iron stores

  • Food sensitivities

  • Reproductive hormone levels

  • Thyroid assessment

  • Stress hormone levels

  • Neurotransmitter levels

  • Nutrient levels

  • Lipid levels

  • Health of the microbiome
