BIO

Dr. Stephanie Peltz completed her naturopathic studies at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, BC.  Prior to this, she received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at McGill University in Montreal.  

Dr. Peltz has a family naturopathic practice that utilizes the core naturopathic treatment modalities.  She combines clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, lifestyle counseling, and acupuncture in her treatment protocols.  She also maintains additional certification in intravenous therapies and craniosacral therapy.  

Dr. Peltz works as a general practitioner with a special interest in promoting women’s health.  This includes the treatment of gynecological issues such as:  fertility concerns (including PCOS, POF, and endometriosis), preconception care, pregnancy, postpartum care, PMS, hormonal imbalances, and menopause.  This work often leads her into treating the whole family, including both men and children.

Other areas of expertise include optimizing digestive health, correcting endocrine abnormalities, addressing stress-based illness, and managing pain.

In addition to her work as a naturopathic physician, Dr. Peltz is a certified yoga instructor and birth doula working throughout the lower mainland.  These additional qualifications inform her naturopathic practice and help her to provide unique and holistic care to her patients.

In her free time Dr. Peltz enjoys testing out new recipes, going for long walks with her dog Cypress, and practicing yoga.  She and her partner Malcolm are excited to become parents to their first child due April 2011.  

Dr. Stephanie Peltz is licensed by the CNPBC, and is a member of the BCNA, and the CAND.  Dr. Peltz is presently accepting new patients.
